About Sipping Group

‘Sipping Group’ was formed by two like-minded business people bringing their skills and life work experiences together. Both have continually and successfully worked to achieve their business goals. Katherine and Brett are now pleased to be the co-founders of the ‘Sipping Verve’ brand, with the aim of sharing and promoting the finer things in life for all to enjoy.

Katherine Tanswell has a retail background of over 21 years and is known in the city of Brighton and Hove for her independent fashion boutique ‘Walk in Wardrobe’. During this time customers enjoyed a personal styling service as well as the many charity events incorporating catwalk shows she has put on at venues such as The Grand Brighton, Brighton Racecourse & Sussex County Cricket Ground to name a few. In recent years Katherine ventured into art promotion when she discovered her first artist to display his works in her centrally located boutique in the sought after Brunswick Square area. This artist excelled in the boutique and the first business idea formed to promote these fabulous silk screen pop art prints with a unique and much sought after difference, now under the umbrella of the ‘Sipping Verve’ Brand.

Brett Paton has a banking background in IT of over 23 years in the city of London. for developing trading and risk-based solutions to global financial institutions such as Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank and UBS. Brett has also built his own software company, which managed complex financial structured products, worked on several successful IT businesses and has a strong entrepreneurial flare. Brett is the strong foundation on which ‘Sipping Group’ stands and Katherine is the social personality who enjoys being on the front line meeting and greeting and planning new creative ideas.
